There is now an official web page for Metro Naturists (Bensalem, PA), at
the following URL. It's not much to look at yet, but it's a start!

Hi. My name's Alice, and I'm 15. I have always kinda been interested in
totally living nude (I'm not into the sexual part of it, I just think it
would be a kind of lifestyle that would interest me). I hate having to
worry about clothes, and who has better clothes, who can afford more.
-----Please don't disregard this message as I think it is legitimate. I
think of it as a way of planning for my future and how and where I want to
live.-----
I am wondering where some nudist colonies are located. Not resorts, but
places where people *live* year-round, not just go for the weekend or on
vacation. I do a lot of research online, (a lot more recently as I have to
decide where I want to go to college), and have come across tons of pages
for resorts, but none where people live year-round. The only thing close is
http://www.batb.com/town/ which is a nudist town some people are proposing
in Arkansas, and by the time I'm old enough to move out and have marketable
job skills, probably any space to live there will be full.
I would really appreciate some help in where I can look for this
information, be it a link or a particular search engine keyword.

My rule of thumb: trolls don't respond! You did, so I hope this is
legit. Here's a book that I think you will find what you need:

Too bad you posted here. This group is half-populated with people who have
nothing better to do than call one another names. I have many posters in my
kill file, mainly because I don't have the time to sift through all their
crap, most of which is too badly written to understand anyway. I never
suspected your letter of being spam, and I recognized your question as quite
legitimate. I'll send you a private message with some much better links.

Very well written for a 15 yo, I'm impressed. No, I don't think this is a
troll
There is one thing that strikes me as strange though. You mention a proposed
community in Arkansas. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the state where
even talking about organized nudism is illegal?
Currently there is no community that I know of that is Clothing optional.
There are Apartment complexes that are Clothing optional but they are few and
far between and advertised by word of mouth only. About the only current way
you may find a clothing optional place to live is in an established resort such
as Gleln Eden on the west coast. However the costs are far beyond the means of
an average college student.
Your best bet would be to find a place such as mine where you may rent a room
and the requirements are clothing optional living conditions. However this
would only apply to the inside of the house and the back yard, and not to the
community at large.
Berkley used to be a very tolerant town until Martinez pushed too hard and
showed up at a city council meeting nude. They then passed a strong ordinance
against nuditiy in the city, and I believe it extends to the college now.
Best of luck and if you show up at the college here, in Lancaster, CA, I have
a room that could be available.

Thank you for bringing that up. I was wrong, it is in Arizona. I wasn't
looking at the name when I wrote that. It actually is a pretty neat idea,
though.
I'm probably going to college somewhere in California. I strongly prefer
warmer weather.
I also have another quesion for anyone to answer: I read somewhere that
even if you work in a nude resort, you may be required by the resort to wear
clothes. How common is that?
Thank you.

I would check all the particulars before joining a club, some clubs
consider jewelry clothing. I appreciate your enthusiam about nude
lifestyle, but you are going to be spending alot of time on campus and
most resorts are off the beaten path, which could mean you will be
spending alot of time in transit to and from the campus. so would'nt
it be simpler to find a roomate who shares your love of nudity, settle
for a communal indoor nude lifestyle close to campus, and then with
school out of the way you could then focus on expanding your nude
activities. The site you posted seemed to be looking for
proffesionals, and since it is still in the planning stage, I'm sure
in four years the population will have grown and would most likely be
more than happy to welcome a Doctor's,Lawyer's, Vet's, or Accountant's
practise to their community. Get the smarts, get the money and then get
rid of the clothes :-)
BukI noticed that a few caught my name changes. "Alice" is a friend of mine
who is letting me use her computer, since my parents wouldn't and don't
approve of this type of thing. "Lisa" is my real name. Lois is just an
email name that someone came up with that has a very long story behind it.

Lisa--I would suggest that you stop posting and reading here since your parents
are apposed to it. You only have a few short years till you will be 18. It
would be best if you don't go against your parents wishes until you are 18. You
don't want to break their trust.
And knowing about nudism at 15 or 18 doesn't make a difference but hurting your
parents would.
Just a thought.

I don't believe that finding your own way in life is in any way breaking
the trust of your parents. However, if it creates conflict within the
family, then Kathleen's advice has some merit.
Keep researching. Then you'll be ready to make better decisions when
the time comes.

But she can find her way in life in just a few short years when she turns 18.
In the nudist industry also they respect the right of parents to be able to
raise their children in their guidelines till 18. All businesses would require
someone 18 to be accompanied by their parents.
Her parents are trying to guide her. Why encourage her to go against that?

So, how come your first post said "Hi. My name's Alice, and I'm 15."?
Anyway, I don't care what you call yourself...
Most clubs and resorts that I've been to have permanent or
semi-permanent residents. Zoning regulations may prohibit full-time
residents. Restful Haven in Oregon only allows you to stay for 6 months
per year, because regulations prohibit longer residencies.

Alice,
You write better than some of the undergraduates I've spoken with today.
Many nudist resorts do have enclaves in which people live all year long:
Cypress Cove in Kissimmee, FL
Glen Eden, Ontario, CA
There are many others throughout the USA.
Best of luck to you in your studies. I am employeed at a university.

browsing...have read a few of the postings and i am kinda interested where this
nudism is coming from?I`m not against it in anyway as long as it is not `thrust
upon me` what you do in enclosed or official areas is ok.But as a non-nudist i
can`t quite understand it probably because i have never really gave it much
thought before.I could understand from a sexual point of view in fact i
remember from about 15 years ago having the opportunity on a secluded beach
with a female friend ,we were both naked ...and had fun.But i am not sure if i
could just go about everyday life in this way to be honest i think i would
embaress myself. What is it that compells you to want to do this? I live in the
uk and i don`t think this happens much over here mainly due to the
weather...maybe thats an influencing factor .
as i said just out of interest.
genuine ...so don`t flame me.

remove niljunk to send e-mail.The "mainstream propaganda machine" and feeder of the general populus
keeps making of Nudity a forbidden, alien notion that one should shy
away from.
The censors, in full function in either cinema or TV viewing, will make
sure that the "selected" parts of the body that are judged offensive,
therefore not permitted to be viewed by such general public, while at
once the presentation of any weaponry and blood gushing scenes (although
derivative of special effects) be absolutely well received by same said
censors.
Ultimately, the traumas keep being fed and, ignorance prevailing, the
feeders keep making sure such public beware of the possibility of seeing
the "offensive" parts of the body but will openly certify that violence
is acceptable, non-offending and current to what one is allowed to view.
This trauma extend to the Nude Recreation option as many of the
practitioners feel they have to hide being involved in the practice of
such as if it is to be kept so secretive with the idea nobody should be
told about it for fear of being offended.
So, since many of those practitioners are only going for Nude Recreation
as a passing fad, the few pioneers who dare stating publicly being At
Ease With Nudity are frowned upon by those same said zigzagging
practitioners.
Being bold and straightforward about the intent to have the public react
to the inherent fact of Nudity seems to be an unacceptable approach by
the silent and near anonymous practitioners of Nude Recreation, but
mostly some (and luckily not all) of those identified as pure
Nudists/Naturists.
What does the public at large feel when witnessing this antagonistic
conduct from some of those declared advocates of either nudism/naturism
while, at once, their vilified attacks are constantly directed at those
who are honestly bold about their commitment to have Nudity be
recognized for what it truly is, rather than being presented as a
foreign despicable notion in the same copy-cat fashion than the
mainstream and other victims of such mindset who obviously have already
infiltrated the ranks of the more affirmative Nude Recreationers.
The silent readers are mostly invited to comment on this as they are the
ones who can tell what they feel when they read the bold affirmative
stance of the few daring pioneers being denigrated in such an
hypocritical way by those purer than thou who are usually sitting on the
fence when progress are made for the acceptance of Nudity as it should
be by any rational human being.
What the mainstream and any of its spokespersons has done to make Nudity
so evil... is in itself an absolute offense to the sanity of those
victimized by such irrational propaganda.
Of course all is not lost when one considers that an alternative to such
regression is kindly offered to the many who question the mainstream's
inanities in regard of the presentation (or lack of such) of Nudity....
when looking us up...;-)

Hi group, this is for the most informed and well traveled among you: What
would you say is the most well put together, permanent and well-built, open
year- round resort available to visit in the entire world. I'm not intersted
in camping or sleeping in a vehicle or eating bad food. Remote is fine
although I live in U.S. It should have all ages and be definitely a nudist
resort not just "partial" or risque like a club med or something. I'm
wondering if a place like this exists, you know, with good architecture and
an excellent beach with no hassles from the townies or locals. Next
question: Can you buy into it either as a co-op or condo owner or something?
Please advise. And thanks, Rob. And if anyone wants to explore with me or
has any suggestions my daily email is shel2267@webtv.net I don't get to
this group much but always enjoy the posts when I do.
I sugest Cypress Cove in Kssimme FLA. You can buy a home there. For more

My vote would be for the c.o. town of Charco del Palo on Lanzarote, and
Castillo de Papagayo, the Oboena complex therein. It meets your specs,
is inexpensive, and I hope to contribute a longer note later. We go back 12th
June to 3rd July. --- Don

I don't understand why ANY picture of ANYTHING should be illegal.
I agree that some ACTS should be illegal. Those who perform such illegal acts
should be apprehended and dealt with.
If a picture is of an illegal act, I regard the picture as evidence of the
illegal act -- but nothing more: I don't understand why the picture itself
should be illegal.
If a picture is of a legal act, or of a state of being, I also don't understand
why the picture itself could or should be illegal.
Why should there be any law prohibiting pictures?

I am asking for comments, by women who are also nudists, about
male attitudes.
Is there a difference in the verbal and non-verbal behavior of men
when you are nude, as opposed to when you are clothed???
If so, what differences have you observed??
Yes. it sounds simple. Please think about it and send your

It's a "Hotel California" area = one minute it can be heaven and the next
it can be hell with gawkers, strollers, woods nymphs, bushwhackers,
preverts, and postverts all over the place. Then, five minutes later, it
can be heaven again. Asserting Naturist standards helps insure a positive
