Anyone going to the nude sauna on Saturday evening? If so perhaps we can
meet up.
Richard

Morfa Dyffryn beach near Harlech has been in the news again, as it is
proposed to make the designation permanent.

The story is on the BBC website at
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/special_report/regions/wales/newsid_1158000
/1158801.stm which I note has a link to the websites of British Naturism,
Gwynedd Council and - good heavens, yes - it's Richard Burnham!

Visit http://www.nuff.org.uk - full of info about naturism in the UK.

Nice to see the Muppets have jumped on the aggression bandwagon.

Richard and Andy have each taken it personally that I would do Vincent harm.
Why? Because to them "IT'S" not right. "IT'S" not nice. You don't hit
people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well a slow hand clap to the both of you. That's quite right you DON'T.
You also don't FORCE people to look at your DICK.

WHY?? because we have a civilised (in theory) society where there are rules
to help the majority, the elderly, the strong, the weak, the poor, the rich.

It is a mish mosh of generalisation. There are places to be naked. There
are places to punch f*ck out of people (boxing rings). There are places to
crash cars. There are places to sing opera. Imagine how annoying it would
be if Vincent was supporting the right to sing opera wherever he wanted,
whenever he wanted.

Social nudity is a niche. Not everyone can handle it. Nobody should HAVE
to deal with it.

I maintain Vincent is purely a political activist and Libertine his
whimpering puppy. Andy and Richard you really are tired old has beens if
you fall for his old clap trap.

Me - I wouldn't even stand on a spider if I can help it.
Me - I wouldn't hit anyone
You - were just too quick to believe I would, too quick to judge badly, too
quick to call "RIGHTS" when it suits you, but not when it suits me. Why do
you not support my rights. Not enough publicity for you
Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both of you should be ashamed that you fight these battles of personal
convenience. Shows you to be the selfish, self opinionated brats you are.

Hi i'm a 18yo boy and i like to tell me please places witch i could find
nudist teen my age please

Some time after the next election, the recommendations in the Home
Office review will be drafted into Law and put before parliament. This
might be a good time to ask for a meeting with your MP (if you have not
already done so).

My list of MPs already contacted now contains 47 entries. Of those about
15 are URNers. Only one of those contacts seems to have provoked a
clearly unsympathetic reply from the MP concerned.

If you are one of those 15 you have probably already had a copy of the
list as it stood at the time that you wrote. Furthermore, you will know
that I know that you have written.

If you haven't had a copy the list then I apologise and it is a
possibility that this might be because I didn't know that you had
written a letter.

So
- if you never had an earlier copy of the list, please let me know so
that I can make sure that you are included and I will send you a copy.
- if you have had an earlier copy of the list and would like to have
something added to the remarks column or would just like to see the
latest version, please let me know and I will send you a copy.

Swim? Naturally with Skin Deep

Dear All ,

Could anyone tell me if there are any naturist beaches near Carnac/Quiberon
France ?

Is there a French Naturist web site that is in english that someone might
know about.

Many thanks in advance.

Andrew

G'day. On 17th November 2001, we will be holding our annual
Samurai Beach Carnival, on Samurai Beach, north of Newcastle
(OUR Newcastle), New South Wales. Come and challenge us to a
game of volleyball and represent the U.K.. It will be almost
summer then, here, in Oz. There is plenty of accommodation and
we'd love to make the event an INTERNATIONAL event.

Or c) none of the above.

If I could share a story with you, that might add an alternative reason
to why a person would enjoy being naked and seeing others naked.

A few years back I got out of the shower, looking in the
mirror I suddenly came to the realization that age was creeping up on
me. Sags here, wrinkles there and gaps where there were never gaps
before. This revelation was quite intrusive on my self esteem for
quite some time afterwards. At the time I had not considered myself a
Naturist/Nudist, but I had no hang ups about nudity, and considered
going to the nude beach, just something you did when you visited
Vancouver.

I held all the negative stereotypes that most textile people have
about who should, or should not be seen naked. The following summer,
for no planned reason, other than conversation around a friends pool
one night on the topic of "Public Nudity" I decided to check out a
nude recreation resort. This intention raised quite a few eyebrows in
my social circle, but undaunted I headed out on my search. I called a
few local places, and was quite surprised at the restrictions these
supposedly non-restricted people had on who could attend their
facilities. I did a search on the Internet for places in
Ontario/Quebec Canada and came across a place near Ottawa that seemed
to be what I was looking for. The night when I happened across that
site is a very special, even magical memory for me. Writing this many
years later, I can still hear the "midi" rendition of the "house of
the rising sun" playing when you logged onto the site, and the blazing
peace symbol, the all are welcome, and the invitation to newcomers,
this was going to be the place for my introduction to social nudism.
My destination was "The Grand Barn". When I arrived, other than
having a few reservations about proper protocol, I was quite enthused
about my new adventure. I met the owner, and now close personal friend
Peter Riden in the front office, after a brief conversation and
check-in I was off to my assigned trailer.

Off with the clothes and out onto the grounds I went. It was really
quite exhilarating to be free of the constraints of clothing, I headed
out to socialize with the other guests, and it wasn't long before I
came to the paramount conclusion that their lack of clothing became
their clothing. Peter Riden's classic quote "at ease with nudity"
seemed at that time, and still does represent the most non-intrusive,
un stigmatic way of defining social nudity. I was surprised, if not
amazed at how fast my social prejudices left me. I was no longer
looking at large people, small people, tall people or short people, I
was looking at people period, "The family of Man".

Now myself being a photographer, looking at people, places and
things, is a occupational necessity, but I don't consider myself a
voyeur. The diversity of shapes and sizes of people I have met since
being involved in the practice of social nudity has only removed the
stigma of the fixed perception of what the ideal human form is, and
replaced it with the beauty that, the perfect human form is the one
you occupy now, it will change during the course of your life, and I
accept that now. If any readers out there are golfers, I would ask you
to imagine this analogy: if life were a golf course, how much meaning
would it have if all the greens were the same all the holes the same
length and all had the same par, what fun would it be, and finally
where's the challenge. No other species on earth shares the diversity
with which the human form is displayed, if someone marvels at or seeks
to explore that diversity why should they be labeled an
"exhibitionist or voyeur " Maybe if we met the challenge of
acceptance there would be more resorts like TGB and less of the
restricted kind. LTW13 if you ever make the voyage across the Big
Pond, come look me up I would be glad to take you to a place where
being looked at and looking at people is perfectly allowed.

Thanks for your time

If it was to happen it would open a 'Pandora's box' and properly end
in the destruction of society as we know it............

In any society there has to be a balance between personal freedom and
respecting the rights of others. This is what the law is there to arbitrate
on. I agree totaly that if we remove all restrictions on personal freedom we
would destroy society as we know it. That dosn't, of course, mean that we
cannot argue about where the limits of personal freedom should be set.
To stay on-topic we can, as a society, debate the question of where my right
to be naked if I choose should give way to your right not to be offended by
my nakedness. Even within URN there are widely divergent opinions on this
from those who support the Vincent position (I have a right to be naked any
time, any place) at one extreme to the "under no circumstances should anyone
ever be exposed to anyone else's nudity" position at the other. My own
position lies somewhere between the two extremes. I certainly don't agree
with Vincent. To impose my nudity on others in the street, in shops etc is
quite unaceptable. On the other hand I don't feel that it is unreasonable
for me to expect a bit of tolerance from others if I choose to "skinny-dip"
from a quiet beach (not just those designated as CO) as long as I take
reasonable steps to minimise the impact of my nudity on those who might see
me.
What saddens me is the name-calling that some people on the two opposing
sides seem to have taken to it really does not help the debate.

David.

Of course she has! She can do one of the following;

a) Shut her eyes or b) Look away.

Furthermore, If she (or anyone else come to that) be so upset by the sight
of an embodiment of her same humanity, she could;

a) Stay indoors or b) Seek psychiatric help or c) go live in society where
anyone with different values or beliefs are simply not tolerated.

Mora,

The difference between nudity and the actions that you so eloquently
discribe is that nudity is not an act in itself. It is a state of existence.

Secondly I do not accept that "mastubating in school playgrounds" is (as you
put it) a "natural function".

Thirdly, there are places specifically designed for the collection and
conveyance of waste matter for reasons of hygiene, they're called toilets.
This is why we dont, as you put it "shit in public". Or do you suggest that
using a toilet is a person and private matter and should only be done behind
closed doors. Have you never used a communal urinal? (or a french one come
to that) Is the passing of solid matter really so different from liquid?
>
> You are sounding a right weird freak here. Do you shut your eyes when the

So, to illustrate your point to justify the "right not to see nudity", you
use an example of a "pervert is waving his dick through someone's window"

> You really don't seem to understand basic social concepts.

If your idea of BSC's is your "natural behaviour" along with your "dick
waving through windows", I'm glad mine differ.

It sounds as if you do not see nudity as a neutral and natural state of
being.

(1) And just suppose I don't like your face, and would rather not see
it?

(2) Why single out your mother? Ageism, sexism, or is this like the
"children" that are often invoked against naturists? She may be elderly,
but perhaps her wits are in better condition than yours?

To reply, change "zz" to "uk".

I recently mentioned this site in another post. Having had a bit more
time since then to browse thro' it, I thought it was worth mentioning
again. It is an American site and therefore the newstories are nearly
all USA based, tho' they do include reports (all their coverage is by
way of links) concerning Vincent and friends. Anyway, I found a mix of
the amusing, informative and disheartening there at:

http://www.clothesfree.com/Nudes_in_News.html

For example:

http://www.app.com/news/app/story/0,2110,339313,00.html

From Jan this year -a report on St Maarten/ Martin. - General info,
altho the writer bottled out of saying whether he and his colleagues
did take the plunge or not.....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/newsid_918000/918935.stm

Even the BBC website had a piece about the Gardener's Question time
from the CCBN AGM at the Naturist Foundation last Sept.
